Thank the Lord for all the wonderful blessings that you have received for your birthday. In our communion with the divine spirit, we acknowledge the greatness of creation and the joy of our loving friendship as we travel together down life’s ever-shifting roads and highways. But we have faith in the things that truly matter, which includes our friendship and the plan of a benevolent creator. Naturally we would wish the Lord’s mercy and benevolence to grace the life of our best friend on his or her birthday.

This card from YellowOtterStudios has referenced the classic terminator line “Hasta la vista, baby”, but any movie quote can work provided you use a bit of wit to come up with a little pun for added laughs.

When it comes to birthdays, do you think the card matters as much as the gift? We do, and never want to be without the perfect handmade birthday card with a personal message. DIY birthday cards are one of the things people often keep longer than the gift, so we always want to make sure to give cards that are extra special and thoughtful. What better way to get a card like this than to make one? Well, this was my thought, anyway. However, when I went looking on Google and Pinterest for handmade DIY birthday card ideas, I did not find exactly what I was looking for. There were lots of free printables from big sites like Greeting Island, Blue Mountain, and even American Greetings, but those lacked the homemade touch I was going for. See, I make lots of my gifts, so adding a cheap looking printed card just won’t do. I was looking for inspiration and step by step tutorials for cute cards to make at home, ones I could be proud of. After the free cards, I came across more tutorials than I could count from sites trying to sell me scrapbook supplies and die cut templates. I understand you have to make money, DIY people, but please, don’t try to sell me stuff to make a simple greeting card, or at least show me I can make one without it. Not nice when you just want some birthday cards you can actually make! I was not looking for some frilly thing that came off looking like a scrapbook, anyway, thank you.

I wish you luck and happiness on this special day of your life. We all want the best of luck for those we love. This image speaks to me of how we move together down the stream of our lives, like boats, sometimes moving in small fleets, sometimes tying off to a pier together to rest in the safety of a shared harbor. Life can be that: a river, with its own streams, currents, and eddies. We wish the best of luck to our best friends, because we travel with them down that river, and share in that luck. Since good fortune leads to happiness, we wish both luck AND happiness to our best friend on their special day.

Cover Verse: Dare to be your truest self. answer your heart's desires. unlock the dreams within you. grace the world with your talents. have faith in your own strength. take risks for what you love. embrace your unique place in the world. recognize how amazing you are. Inside Verse: Whatever you dream and wherever you go, you're going to be great. Because you already are. Happy Birthday with Love
So I end of giving lots of cards each year, namely handmade DIY birthday cards, but there is one card I make that has to be the most special of all. My Mom’s birthday is in the summer, and by spring, I am always on the lookout for the best birthday card to make for Mom. Usually, I look for a creative idea with lots of handmade details, one she is sure to appreciate and be able to proudly display so all her friends can see it. This adorable gift box card was my top pick to make for my mother, and it did not disappoint. I have to admit, mine actually turned out cuter than the picture. I used a plaid paper and red ribbon, and it was so colorful and cute, I wanted to keep it for myself. Say Happy Birthday to your favorite special person with this do it yourself birthday card project.

Make their birthday card as unique as they are. Whether you’re personalising a cute Tatty Teddy card for mum, a funny card for dad, or a glittery fold-out card for your bestie, we have a perfect birthday card designed just for them. There’s also a wide range of birthday party invitations and milestone cards for all those big occasions, such as 21st birthdays, 30th birthdays, 50th birthdays, and even turning 100 birthday cards.

I have ordered birthday cards from Amazon several times this year and have been pleased. This time, I wanted to try some different cards and didn't pay attention to the fact that they are "blank" inside. They would have been perfect had they had just a short printed note inside...I am going back to my "Old Faithfuls"...Sometimes change isn't better!
This is one of the best birthday wishes for a friend you can send, because it invokes the spirit of the divine to rain down blessings upon your best friend for the entirety of the year ahead. It also wishes them happiness, but greatest of all it wishes them the blessing of good health. We so often forget how health trouble can interfere with our lives; when we aren’t sick or struggling it’s easy to forget how important our health truly is.  That makes this an important birthday wish.
Among the great symbols of life and hope in the world, the sea remains one of the most powerful. Ever constant but always changing, powerful, vast, and beautiful, the ocean is a suitable image to mentally conjure when one imagines what best symbolizes the fixed-but-fluid universe. The stars are another great symbol of life and the universe, so it’s comforting that there are stars in the sea as well… starfish. All is connected. Maybe two best friends can be imagined as a pair of starfish on a beach, under a sunset sky, facing the starlit night together. We make wishes on stars of all kinds and hope they come true for our loved ones on their birthdays.

One of the best ways to make your friend happy on his/her birthday is to be by his/her side on this special occasion. Also, you might bake them a homemade cake to indicate your true devotion to your mutual friendship. But whether or not you bake, buy, or borrow, it’s the well-wishes that really count. And the many happy returns to hope for your best friend.
